Those in the Johnsonburg area on Tuesday morning had the opportunity to view a United States Air Force cargo plane - if they happened to be outside looking up at the right time. The plane, a C-17 Globemaster III, passed over Holy Rosary Cemetery just before 11 a.m. According to information provided by a representative of the Air Force, who confirmed that the aircraft was a C-17 Globemaster III, the plane has the ability to transport people and cargo long distances while also being able to operate in austere environments and land on short runways.
