Plans for the South St. Marys Street Elementary School playground are moving ahead steadily as the St. Marys Area School District board of directors approved the purchase of playground equipment totaling $77,700 during their Monday evening meeting.
Included in the equipment are three bridges, three slides, three overhead features, 14 climbers, a balance beam, a roller table and six play panels. The playground is custom design as organizers have been able to choose the equipment which best suits their needs.
