Armine H. Piccirillo

Armine H. Piccirillo, 93, formerly of 4257 Grant Rd., Ridgway, died Tuesday evening, Feb. 19, 2013 at Elk Haven Nursing Home following a brief illness.
She was born May 14, 1919 in Shawmut, daughter of the late Eva Jenkins. She was married to Joseph N. Piccirillo who preceded her in death. She had resided in Ridgway all of her life and was a member of St. Leo Catholic Church and the C.D. of A. She had been employed by Sylvania for 30 years.
She is survived by one son, Robert P. Piccirillo and his wife Mary Kathryn of Western Springs, Ill.; one grandson, Joseph R. Piccirillo and his wife Grace of Chicago, Ill.; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one daughter, Geraldine Fredrickson; two brothers, William and Arthur Evans; and one sister, Alice Evans Ellman.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Armine H. Piccirillo will be celebrated at St. Leo Catholic Church on Saturday, Feb. 23 at 11 a.m. Officiating will be Fr. Brian E. Vossler, pastor of the St. Leo Catholic Church.
Burial will follow at St. Leo Cemetery. Friends will be received at the Thompson Funeral Home on Friday, Feb. 22 from 5-8 p.m. A Wake Service will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 7:45 p.m.
