The Elk County Humane Society and Amphenol Advanced Sensors, formerly GE Sensing, have teamed up to host an Adopt A Friend event on Saturday at the Fox Township Community Park.
The springtime event for company employees and their families has progressed with a portion of it being open to the community.
From 1-3 p.m. residents can stop by the stage area of the park to meet several dogs available for adoption.
"This event is fun for the entire family, so come meet our furry friends and be a part of a wonderful cause," said June Glass, Amphenol employee and member of the Elk County Humane Society's fundraising committee.
